How to turn on/off Dark Mode in Telegram web & Telegram app. Telegram web, Telegram mobile app, Telegram desktop app all have Dark Mode

What is Dark Mode?

Dark mode (night mode or dark interface) is a mode that helps protect eyes when using the device in low light or evening

Most applications have Dark Mode: from Windows, iOS, Android to Chrome, Telegram, Facebook, Messenger…

Telegram web K and Telegram web Z (or A) all have the same way to turn on Dark mode:

Click ≡ button at top left corner → click “Dark Mode” to turn on Dark Mode. Telegram interface will immediately switch to Dark Mode

To turn off Dark Mode, click ≡ button at top left corner → click “Dark Mode” again

Open Telegram app on your phone, Tap on “Settings” at bottom right corner → “Appearance”

Tap on “Night Mode” to turn on Dark mode. Telegram interface will immediately switch to Dark Mode

You can customize the Dark Mode by tap on “Auto-Night Mode” below

In Auto-Night Mode, you can choose night theme or dark theme, customize Dark Mode to turn on and off automatically by: system, scheduled or automatic

To turn off Dark Mode, you just do the same: Settings → Appearance → Night Mode

And you must also turn off Auto-Night Mode (disabled)

Open Telegram App for Android, tap on Menu ☰ at top left corner

Tap on moon icon at top right corner to enable Dark Mode

And tap on sun icon to disable Dark Mode

Click ≡ button at top left corner → click “Night Mode” to turn on Dark Mode. Telegram interface will immediately switch to Night Mode

To turn off Dark Mode, click ≡ button at top left corner → click “Night Mode” again
